Away with the blunders, hello beauty!

Everyone uses a bit of makeup and let's be honest, everyone makes mistakes sometimes. Mascara that leaves a mark under the eyebrows and lipstick that colors the teeth. We really do our best, but occasionally things go wrong. And that can be easily solved.

Eyeliner

Instead of a neat line on the eyelid, there is a smudged line throughout the day that no longer swirls beautifully upwards, but now hangs sadly downwards. Or you make the mistake of going outside the lines right from the start. Eye-liner. It is quite tricky to apply, but once done you want it to look good. Try waterproof products and use foundation or concealer as a base.

Mascara marks

You apply mascara in thin layers. And between each layer, wait a few seconds so it can set. Then hold your een wattenschijfje above your eye and blink a few times. This way you prevent marks above your eyes. If it happens anyway? Let it dry completely, then you can easily wipe it away afterwards. If it's still wet, it will only get worse if you touch it. Don't want your mascara to clump? Close your mascara tightly, because clumpy mascara means it's dried out.

Wrong foundation

Thick, covering, and especially wrongly colored foundations are at the top of the list of beauty mistakes. Choose a color that matches your skin tone well. The more natural, the better. A wrong color also results in a wrong outcome and accentuates wrinkles, blemishes, and imperfections. Do you have a somewhat wrong color at home and still need to go out? Mix it with your day cream, then you make it much lighter and you will definitely get the most beautiful nude look, but do cover up spots and imperfections.

Lipstick

Lipstick that settles in the lines, leaves a mark, or colors your teeth. You don't want that. Use a foundation as a base, then you create a sort of base layer on which both the color stays nice and it doesn't settle in the lines so easily. You also have lip primers, but concealers achieve almost the same effect. With a lip liner, in exactly the same color as your lipstick, you can also color the lips, which keeps a nice line and makes your lips look a bit bigger. Always do the old tissue trick afterwards and you won't have to worry about marks and smudging.

Eyebrows

I think one of the biggest frustrations for makeup artists is incorrectly plucked eyebrows. Too thin, shapeless, or just eyebrows full of holes. There are two solutions. For the long term, work with a serum to fill things back in and especially leave your tweezers alone. For the short term, use a powder to get things back in the right shape. And pay a visit to an expert.

Blemishes

Trouble with a blemish? Don't just slather on foundation right away, because that only emphasizes it. Just follow these tips, then you'll have less trouble with it quickly and it won't be so noticeable.
