Beauty tips from Paris
Last week I quoted from the book ‘How to be a Parisienne’ on how to make your hair dance without too much effort. Today is episode two. The fact that Parisiennes look good is not just a current trend. This has been the case for years, what am I saying, centuries. The real beauty tips are passed down from generation to generation.
* To give your hair some extra shine, rinse it with white wine vinegar. It might not smell great at first, so rinse it again afterward. Or just do the tips for shiny locks.
* Skin, hair, and nails love beer. Not the beer you drink, as that gives you a belly, but brewer's yeast. Sprinkle it over your salad, steak, and vegetables. A great alternative to salt, and skin and hair will shine much more.
* Rum, honey, two eggs, and some lemon juice. Not necessarily a tasty cocktail to drink but great for your hair. Works perfectly as a restorative hair mask.
* Always keep a pumice stone in your bathroom. Scrub your feet once a week and you'll have soft feet that you can slip into your heels. Calluses are a topic that isn't often discussed.
* Dive straight into the baby section of the supermarket. You can find products with almond milk there. Once you start using it, you won't want anything else, as it works so well as hand cream and body lotion.
* Don't ask why, just do it. At the end of your shower, spray some cold water over your breasts.
* Before you throw away a squeezed lemon, wipe it over your nails. They will become brighter and stronger.
* Once a week, brush your teeth with baking soda. It makes your teeth a bit whiter.
