Our Carolien is finishing the year beautifully again, as she ‘did’ a quick little Barcelona trip and can now really enjoy the house. Noted. Carolien takes you along in this last week of the year.
I am a ‘sucker’ for hats. My entire closet is full of them, but unfortunately, such a beautiful hat always blows away during my bike rides. Now I have finally found a hat in Barcelona that fits perfectly. Let those gusts come! It’s a final wrap! The whole Christmas (yep, I was all alone this Christmas) Jon worked hard to finish the audio mix for his first feature film ‘Homies’. The great luck was that this work took place in Barcelona, so I had to fly over with the producer and the lead actor, Robert de Hoog, to attach a little holiday to it. Not unpleasant.
When I saw these cocktail sticks, I immediately got a smile on my face. I am quite into gadgets and quirky items, so these couldn't be missing in the new kitchen of our house.
After exactly one and a half hours, things went wrong on day one in Barcelona. We walked past a beautiful chocolate shop with the most beautiful Willy Wonka-like creations. From giant macarons to homemade hot chocolate: we wanted to try everything. Unfortunately, my eye was bigger than my stomach and I am still stuck with the leftovers at home.
After 10 weeks, it has finally happened: the last items have been delivered, all the boxes have been unpacked, and we can now really enjoy our little palace! It was quite a delivery, but the result is truly beautiful.
