Thanks to my girlfriend Karlijn, I suddenly found myself enjoying Jazz pianist Peter Beets in the beautiful concert hall last week. My pass is already on order.

It had been a while since I traveled to Maastricht with Marly for an ultimate shopping session. But on Monday, we drove down south again with friends and were completely ready for a long day of sales shopping. What turned out: everything was closed on Monday... Tears were in my eyes when I called the owner of STIJL WYCK and with a squeaky voice said that we had sat in the car for nothing for 2.5 hours. But to our great luck, the store opened exclusively for a private shopping session. Our day couldn't have been better!

Jon and I can regularly be found at restaurant 5&33 for a bite and a Gin Tonic. Yesterday we were invited to taste the different dishes from the menu with a select group. My favorite? The burrata salad and the panna cotta.
