This week, Carolien takes us along again in her cozy, yet busy life. Look here at all the fun things she has done.
The tea from ‘So T’ is almost like candy! Two scoops of this dried fruit mix in a cup of hot water and as soon as your tea is at strength, you spoon the tea mix up like a sweet treat.
I get so happy from beautifully polished nails that also stay on for a while! When ‘Shellac’ hit the market, I immediately bought a set. Disadvantage: removing Shellac from your nails is a huge hassle. That's why I jumped for joy when I discovered ‘Striplac’. This works the same as Shellac, only you ‘strip’ the nail polish off like a layer from your nails: ideal!
For sushi, you can wake me up at almost any time! My favorite sushi place is ‘A Fusion’ on the Zeedijk. But I also regularly make it myself: the preparation takes a bit of time & effort, but the end result is more than worth it!In New York, I couldn't walk past a street without passing a fashionista in ‘Birkenstocks’. My husband needs to get used to the idea, because he said: ‘After that, the step to Crocs is just very small...’ After two weeks of convincing him that I would jump off a bridge before I ever wear Crocs, I've secretly already been surfing for the perfect pair of Birkenstocks. The Classic, black with black buckles, or a beige pair with gold buckles. Last weekend, we traveled with the family to Italy for my aunt's dream wedding. Together with my sister, I was a witness and we wanted to wear the same outfit. We found this colorful dress at Forever 21.
