AMAYZINE COCKTAIL

If you don't know what you're going to do with your loved one this Valentine's Day and you actually don't feel like going out to a restaurant, but do want to be a bit sultry and tipsy together on the couch, in bed, or wherever? Then dive into the kitchen together first to brew a cocktail. You'll fall even more in love. Trust me.

I was recently served this cocktail at Restaurant Bridges in Hotel The Grand. The bartender specially made me an Amayzine Cocktail that you can easily make at home. If you still feel like hanging out at a bar with your loved one or with friends, save this outing for next week. The cocktail bar in The Grand is currently undergoing a small renovation after which it will look even more beautiful and comfortable. First, stop by the raw seafood bar and order some oysters and sashimi. Then treat yourself to a cocktail. Or all at once. It doesn't really matter. This hotel is so nice.

How to make it and what you need:

  • 50 ml hendricks
  • 25 ml sugar water
  • 25 ml honey
  • 25 ml fresh lime juice
  • 25 ml st-germain

Always fill your cocktail glass with ice first so it gets cold. Put all the ingredients in a shaker and show off your shake skills. Pour everything into the glass using a strainer. Of course, dump the ice out of the glass first.
