After we last week actually didn't see any real results, we were mercilessly punished with three extremely tough training sessions. So we won't do that anymore. Wow, we already see so much difference! Actually, we are practically done! Goodness, I feel so slim, strong, and fit, it's almost unbelievable. No, but seriously, sometimes I think I can sense some improvements. Especially in the morning, because in the evening after a day of eating, I often feel quite bloated. Personally, I really struggle with the problem of snacking. Here at the office, there is food everywhere. Small bowls with stroopwafels, Bastogne cookies, mini Mars bars, you name it, it's there. So I can't say no to it and then accidentally take a small bite. Not. Anymore. Further into the week in points.
– Last weekend was of course King's Day and we felt it. Jet wrote on Monday that she ate everything that was loose and fixed and it was the same for me. Tuesday was our first after-King's Day training and we were both as fit as a wet newspaper. We always start the training with 3x 150 jumps of skipping rope and now we were both already slightly sweating by jump 30, red-faced by 100, and downright purple and drenched in sweat after the third 150. Oops. Alcohol is really very bad for you.
– Last Thursday, Amayzine turned half a year old and Josselin handed out muffins. Not so killer body-proof, but very tasty. And half a year! Then it’s allowed. Right? Right????
– Jet ate at Fennel and that is really her new hang-out. “Never cook again.” She had the ‘Spring Cravings’ and spontaneously got, yes, spring cravings from it. The ingredients: chickpeas, peas, radish, avocado, dried apricot, and Parmesan cheese. With garden cress, mint, and a lemon vinaigrette. Yummy!
– I am especially very proud of my newly discovered breakfast ritual. Every morning I have low-fat quark, an apple cut into pieces, some berries, blackberries, a banana, or another type of fruit. On top of that, some goji berries, chia seeds, flax seeds, and then mix the whole thing together and voila, breakfast is ready. It tastes delicious, feels super healthy, and is also very filling. I do feel like I take some sort of Instagram bite every time, but I just accept that.
– So I want to go swimming. So far, not much more has come of that plan than looking at the prices (affordable) and the times (doable) on the website, but still, the plan is there and just that feels really good.
– By the way, Jet wants to go squash, together with Joss, so the three of us on the court. Now, my ball sense is really so bad it's almost crying, so I'm only medium enthusiastic.
– By the way, as the ultimate final blow, we will start the detox in a week, the same one that Jet and Joss did before. I'm terrified.
– Guys, have a nice Sunday!
