ELLIS CAN DO EVERYTHING

Ellis Faas started her career as a photographer, although she quickly made the switch to makeup. And as a makeup artist, she quickly made a name for herself. Ellis is not one to shy away from campaigns for Hermès, Gucci, Jean Paul Gaultier, or Chanel. She is a fashion week habituée (having been head of the cabin for many major shows) and has worked with photographers like Demarchelier, van Lamsweerde, and Miles Aldridge. This last experience must have undoubtedly inspired her as she is returning a bit to her first passion. There is an exhibition of Ellis's work at Galerie Pien Rademakers on KNSM Laan 291 in Amsterdam. The exhibition Wake up to Makeup consists of new and existing photography and makeup work by her.
