l’Amour fou, the documentary in which Pierre Bergé sings the love for his Yves Saint Laurent I have seriously seen 134 times. It could also have been 137 times, I want to be rid of that. Especially the sentence “Et voilà” in which Pierre Bergé explains how it came to be that he flew in a private plane from Paris to Deauville. It was quite a drive for a weekend getaway so he bought himself a jet and took some flying lessons.

I was also really looking forward to YSL the movie but at the same time I was a bit apprehensive. My Yves, my Pierre, would everything turn out well if it was cast in fiction? But the real Pierre had said after seeing the film that he was happy with the result. Some parts were confronting (it seems to me, it seems to me, there has been quite a lot of drinks and drugs consumed there in the Saint Laurent house and there have also been quite a few men worn out) but Pierre was happy. And if Pierre was happy, I would be happy too.

The film shows true couture pieces from that time, the YSL headquarters, we see that Yves takes Karl Lagerfeld's boyfriend (hence the ongoing feud between the two). Anyway, I feasted. On his men, on his women but especially on his incredibly beautiful fashion.
