Sylvia Blazer works at Coebergh Communicatie & PR doesn't necessarily have a lot of bags, but there's a reason for that. When one goes out the door, another can be bought. This is one of her favorites.
How many bags do you have?
“I think I have about 10, ranging from designer bags to linen bags and holiday souvenirs. A decent number, right? Beautiful bags that I simply don't (anymore) wear, I give to my mother. She's happy and I always have room for new arm candy.”
How did you get this beauty?
“I treated myself to this one when I received my first salary.”
What does a bag do for a woman?
“I know few women who leave the house without a bag, so secretly a bag is also a bit of an extension of yourself. It has to match you. For me, a bag must be beautiful, but also definitely practical. In any case, big enough to fit a half-liter bottle of water, which I always have with me.”
What about the contents? Are you a chaotic person or neatly organized?
“I think I fall under the category of systematically chaotic. I can't always find everything immediately, especially my keys, but I do know exactly what's inside. All the small loose items I do put neatly in the side pocket. Yes, except for my keys.”
What do you always have in your bag?
“Water, planner, pens, hand cream from Rituals, keys, a travel edition of my favorite Hermès perfume, my Adidas sunglasses, my regular glasses, lip balm, and last but not least Touch-up cream from John Frieda. I hate frizzy hair.”
are you more into trendy or classic?
“I will always go for timeless. Often that is also classic, but certainly not always. I mainly go for quality and design that suits me. Preferably also a bit practical.”
And lastly, is there still a bag on your wishlist? Which one?
“Always of course. I've been shopping more for shoes and bags than clothes lately. Difficult, but the Pashli Mini Messenger from Phillip Lim and such a small shoulder jewel from Jérôme Dreyfuss are definitely at the top of my list.”
