The discussion: high waisted jeans shorts..

Guys, I want to open a discussion point with you. It’s about the following. For some time now, high waisted jeans shorts have been all the rage again. The higher and tighter, the better. Good news, I think, bad news, all men on earth think. Because while I find such a high sitting tight little book really mega sexy, there are entire forums on the Internet where men gather and express their frustration regarding this piece of clothing. Personally, I think there is no piece of clothing in which I look slimmer and taller in. Legs to the sky, any muffin top safely tucked away, what’s not to like? Men, on the other hand, shout that every female body looks ugly in them, that the inventor of these shorts must have had the goal of killing humanity because every man becomes impotent from them and that, in short, there should be a worldwide ban.

This week I had a really nice appointment at the Levi’s headquarters to hear about their new campaign Live In Levi’s. I browsed a bit in the racks and, lucky me, got to take home a nice set. It became a high waisted jeans short and a checkered blouse and while I was looking at myself in the mirror, I brought up The Discussion Point with the lady from Levi’s. She is also familiar with the discussion, having been at Lowlands where many of those kinds of shorts are seen, all the men around her consistently started shouting about how hideous they are.

Where does this go wrong? Why do women find it beautiful and men do not? And why don’t men find it beautiful? Just look at the images above, I’m repeating myself but, what’s not to like? That’s why it’s time to shed some light in the darkness and I call on all of you to unravel this mystery. Men and women tell me, why this discussion?
