Tropical Spirit

Tropical Spirit is the summer look of Sisley. You understand that tropical spirit is pronounced. Lots of color, lots of shine, and above all very summery. That just happens to be exactly what we need. Randall Wijngaarden, makeup artist of SISLEY, shows on our Liesbeth how to create this look in a few steps.

Care and base

As a base care, Randall uses the new Sunleya G.E. in SPF 15. This is a sun protection and anti-aging day care in one, so a good base to start with. To cover all imperfections, you choose foundation and concealer. For the foundation, Phyto-Teint Eclat is used here. A light foundation that conceals imperfections but still gives a natural look. Under the eyes, you use the concealer to cover spots and shadows. You can also use it to cover spots around the mouth. With Illusion d’Été, you apply a warm summery glow over the entire face. Be careful not to apply it under the eyes as that looks very unnatural.

The eyes may have a tropical, seductive look in this look. They therefore get quite a bit of attention, so take your time. Randall first applied the Phyto-Ombre Eclat in the color Stardust on the moving eyelid up to the crease. To make it surprising and exciting, you then apply the same color eyeshadow in Burgundy on the outer side of the crease, fading it inward. Blend this together beautifully so that it has a natural transition.

The color is now on the eyes, but it still needs to shine a lot. Only then is it really a party. Apply the Phyto-Ombre Glow in gold to the inner corner of the eye. Let this come together with the Stardust color from the previous step. Then apply the Phyto-Ombre Glow in the color Pearl on the bulge of the eyelid and in the corners for a beautiful glow on the eyes.

With the Phyto-Khol Perfect eyeliner in Purple, you outline the entire eye. This enlarges your gaze.

For an intense look and lots of volume, use the So Intense Mascara. It is not a brush, but a comb so that the lashes are well separated and you don't get clumps. The result: beautiful intense eyes. Apply the mascara with a zigzag motion, making your lashes look even longer. Nice bonus, because with this mascara your lashes get a vitamin boost (biotin) so they grow stronger and longer. By using the mascara, you get longer and fuller lashes, but even after you have wiped off the mascara, you will have fuller lashes within 4 weeks.

For the Finishing Touch, use the Phyto-Lip Star in Modern Fuchsia. An ultimate shine that also works very softly and nourishingly due to the power of lotus.
