At Amayzine HQ, we start the day with a nail polish. Not just on Mondays, mind you, it's a dilemma here almost every day which color should go on the nails. Now there are a few favorites here in the editorial office. These are mainly the bottles from CHANEL. That's why this week Le Vernis de Chanel has been declared a Style Icon.

The nail polishes look luxurious (duh, CHANEL!) and they are known for their good quality, the colors being totally on-trend, and the bottle guaranteed to look chic in your toiletry bag. The nail polish is quite thick, so with one coat you already have a good color. Just give it some drying time, because scratches and smudges would be such a shame, but afterwards you have smoothly polished nails that last you a week. (By the way, it's the same for us at HQ, but due to the enormous choice here, we change it up daily. That's another luxury problem).

As for the colors. They are definitely on trend. When the new collection arrives at the editorial office, it's always a bit of a fight over who gets to take the polishes home. This winter, for example, they have a dark gray and a beautiful nude color in the collection; 631 Orage and 625 Secret. I already know that Secret is my new secret for having well-groomed nails. It's such a beautiful soft pink color that adds a lovely touch to any look, whether it's daytime or party. So I fought for that. And won.
