At Amayzine HQ we always start the day with a polish. Not only on Mondays either, no everyday is a new what colour to wear dilemma. We have quite a few favourites too. Those are mostly the CHANEL bottles. This week we've decided to name Le Vernis de Chanel a Style Icon.

The lacquers all look luxurious (duh, CHANEL!) and they're all known for their excellent quality, colours that are totally on-trend and a bottle that guarantees chic-ness in the toiletry bag. The polish is quite thick, so even one layer gives a good colour. Give it a good drying time, because scratches and smears would be sinful, but also because it lasts a good week if you do. (That's the same with us here at HQ, but we have so much choice that we swap daily. But that's a different luxury problem.)

The colours. They are definitely always bang on-trend. There is always a tussle between us when the knew collection arrives as to who gets to take them home. This winter for example, they brought out a dark grey and a lovely nude; 631 Orage and 625 Secret. I knew immediately that Secret would become my new secret weapon for having cared for nails. Such a lovely soft pink colour and a beautiful addition to any look, be it day or party. So I fought for it. And won.
