POPPY DELEVINGNE
Here at the editorial office, we've been talking for some time about getting married, weddings, and more of that sort. No, no, the editors themselves are not that eager to marry (although it must be said that Jet would prefer to say ‘yes, I do’ now rather than tomorrow, but a man is still missing for now), but around us, a lot of people are getting married and saying ‘I do’. Last week I attended a wedding, Josselin saw friends walk to the altar on Saturday, and our sales director Danielle has a wedding in two weeks. Also getting married was Poppy Delevingne, Cara's sister. She said 'yes' to James Cook, a tall blonde god from a good family, of course.
Poppy made all the girls‘ hearts race worldwide because she didn't wear a standard white dress, no, Poppy married in Chanel Haute Couture. Sigh. Deep sigh. The dress consisted of two parts, a sort of shorter top dress with a transparent underdress. The hair in shiny wavy curls and a subtle veil combined with a radiant bride (forgive me the sentiment) make the result stunningly beautiful. You know, the longer I look at that dress, the more I like it. I was never the girl who dreamed of getting married, but if it has to happen, then preferably in Chanel Haute Couture.
For those who will soon walk to the altar themselves and could use some inspiration, I've gathered the most beautiful dresses from net-a-porter. No wedding plans? Oh well, looking at beautiful dresses has never made anyone worse, right?.
