This is a very funny story. Kim van Adelberg sent me an email asking how on earth so many people are carrying a Chanel bag in the look of the day.
‘Apparently I'm doing something wrong, because at 41 I still don't have a Chanel bag. So, are these good fakes, are they scouring all the designer vintage sites with their last savings or... what?’
I read the email out loud and there was laughter here. Well dear Kim, I must tell you, I certainly can't afford a Chanel bag either. I would have to live on water and bread for half a year and I’m not willing to do that. It is of course on my wishlist. But hey, a good reason to take a picture of her. Without a Chanel bag, but super fun.
Kim is wearing pants from Cimarron and a silk pink blouse from Massimo Dutti. The shoes are from a small unknown shop in Spain, the same as the bracelets. The cardigan is from Minimum and she bought the clutch at Libeskind. .
