My Bag

I love bags and save every season for a beautiful it-bag, and when I think about it, I wear each bag in phases. Right now, I often use my Céline bag because it can hold so much, which is handy when I'm out with my son Fabian. This bag was a gift from my dear Bastiaan and Fabian for my birthday. Really a nice mommy bag. Because besides the fact that there is enough space, it also goes with everything.

I use it for almost everything and, like many other women, I carry all my belongings everywhere. This mini luggage is also the perfect business bag. A laptop fits easily in it, and when I have a business appointment, I make a good impression right away.

It's always organized with me. I can't stand it when everything is in disarray because that creates chaos in my own head. Since I switch bags quite often (depending on what outfit I'm wearing and what I'm going to do), there is a system in the contents. Everything is stored in small pouches, so it's just a small effort to transfer everything.

What I always have with me is a makeup bag with my favorite products like my Givenchy le Rouge lipstick, J’Adore Eau de Parfum, Bobbi Brown, and my Estée Lauder Idealist Cooling Eye Illuminator for puffy eyes, wallet, car keys, and my Louis Vuitton planner (which has been with me for 10 years). I don't save anything on my mobile; I find that so inconvenient. I write all my appointments on paper. For Fabian, there are Dora cookies and a Philips Avent bottle in the bag.

I'm not necessarily very careful with my bags. They don't sit in a dust bag in the closet because I want to be able to look at them. However, I never put them on the ground. I learned that from my mother. She told me it brings bad luck.

Fabian won't have much use for my bags later on. So, having another girl would be fantastic. Otherwise, I hope to have a lovely daughter-in-law who can borrow my bags.
