Normally, you find a woman here who shares her most precious arm candy with you. Then we sniff around, as brazen as we are, through the contents in the hope of getting a little glimpse into the soul. Due to fashion week, we grabbed some models by the collar and asked about the contents of their designer bags. Because what's inside, what's inside?

Heels

People walk in sneakers, slip-ons, ballerinas, or something else flat because you take off some during fashion week. The heels are in the bag for during a casting. Then you are put into a simple black dressin which your body can be well assessed and you are expected to wear heels.

Plasters and anti-blister balm

A little model wears five different pairs of shoes on a show day and, to put it mildly, not all of them feel like slippers. The chance of a blister is just as great as finding a Starbucks, a pain quotidien, or a pret-a-manger. Apply a blue anti-blister stick beforehand and if the suffering has occurred, pull out a blister plaster. Which of course has to come off during the show. Fashion before comfort.

A hairbrush

For a casting or fitting, the hair needs to be tidied up. Or if those strange braids that looked great at the show but make you feel a bit uncomfortable on the street need to be combed out.

Your set card

You hand that in at a casting. Your best photo, names, measurements, and back numbers.

Nut supply

The healthiest candy is a bowl of raw, unsalted nuts. Energy that won't make you fat. And that's what you need.

Mobile and the rest

Models sit during fashion week for maybe four hours a day at the hair and makeup firm and then almost crawl into their phones. Just watching your last show back on fashionspot.com, posting something fun on Instagram, and keeping in touch with home. Because your phone seems to be almost dead here, there is always an extra power bank and a nice cord at hand. And earbuds so you can isolate yourself a bit when listening to Pharrell or Rihanna

 Cigarettes please

Not all of them of course, but if they smoke, they come through the revolving door with a cigarette in their mouth. Not good for the skin, but good for the figure. Kate Moss got away with it just fine, right?
