MODELS OF THE DAY

The models of the day walked in the show of the day, which is that of Diane von Furstenberg. The grande dame of New York Fashion Week always has the best front row, the best clothes, and the best models. Karen Elson, Karlie Kloss, and Bette Franke, for example. But also, and this makes us happy, no less than eight dark-skinned models. More diversity in the catwalk image is something we can only applaud, celebrate, and praise. So, hats off to Diane, and hats off to Cindy Bruna, Joan Smalls, Jourdan Dunn, Malaika Firth, Anais Mali, Binx Waldon, Mariana Santana, and Maria Borges. Hooray!
