Anyone who has ever been on my Instagram page or happened to read this piece knows it already, I am quite an obsessive fan of animals, and cats in particular. I really have to hold myself back from posting pictures of my cat Disco all day long because I know that not everyone is necessarily waiting for that. One solution is to set up a separate Instagram page for your pet, but even I think that goes a step too far. However, many people think differently about that, especially famous people with enough ego to lend some attention to their pet as well. Meet the following pets that all have more followers than you.

Cecil Delevigne

Cecil is Cara Delevigne's rabbit and even though she has only been on Instagram for 2 days, she has already gained 48,376 followers. By the way, when I started this piece, there were still 46,290, so it’s going fast. In those two days, ten photos have appeared that get around 10,000 likes each. Now it’s your turn.

Peter Pan

Paris Hilton's Chihuahua managed to scrape together 17,225 followers in just a few months and a measly 5 photos. Peter Pan's bio tells us that “I love to party with my mom @ParisHilton.” So I wouldn’t be surprised if she actually takes that kind of dog (also a bit of a rat) to the club too. Selfie!

Choupette

A list like this cannot be without Choupette, Karl Lagerfeld's cat. Here on Amayzine, we have also written about her regularly (here for example, or here) because Choupette has quite a luxurious life. Flying in a private jet, an own iPad, personal nanny, nothing is too much for Karl – and over 12,609 people are watching.

Matilda Ferragni-Pozzoli

The page of the bulldog of blogger Chiara and ex-boyfriend Ricardo is a bit quiet. Probably because the supposedly unbreakable relationship of her parents actually did end. Nevertheless, Matilda has managed to gather 28,345 followers within 23 photos. And such a beautiful last name ever. So here you see a dog with more followers and a better name than us. It’s really not fair.

Smushball

But the undisputed winner is Smushball, a Persian Doll Face Cat. Smushball looks like a little lion and has a life that you would love to be a part of as a human. Father Smushball is Dan Bilerian, a poker player and the man every man wants to be. He has a totally crazy life with lots of naked women, guns, and throwing money around, but also with an incredibly fluffy sweet cat. Smushball had 159,308 followers when I started this piece, but within a quarter of an hour, there were already 100 more.
