Melted rubber and bare breasts

Hanging bare-breasted with a staple through your stomach in a car garage was probably not the dream of Sasha Luss, Isabelli Fontana, Anna Ewers and Joan Smalls. But when tire brand Pirelli is the client, it suddenly becomes a very different story.

These calendars are only distributed among clients (so they end up in that car garage anyway) but every year a top team is assembled to take the photos. For the 2015 calendar, Steven Meisel was asked to handle the photography and Carine Roitfeld did the styling.

Carine chose rubber as the theme. It fits nicely into the tire theme and provides the much-needed erotic content. Of course, you shouldn't forget your target audience. Because garages are associated with chewed shag cigarettes, filter coffee from plastic cups and scantily dressed cleaning staff. Sasha Luss and Joan Smalls easily tossed off their bras and Anna Ewers pulled her rubber thong a little higher for a good cause.
