Sunday, December 14

Yesterday I had my first job for Touché Models. And it was no small task.
I was booked for the show presentation of Tommy Hilfiger, which was super cool.
On Friday I had a fitting at the headquarters of Tommy Hilfiger and on Saturday at 6:00 PM I only heard that I was booked. My flight to France had to be rebooked immediately because I was actually supposed to fly on Saturday evening.
I'm really starting to get used to the modeling life that everything is last minute haha.
But you have to be willing to make some sacrifices, right...

After I heard the news, I quickly waxed my legs and painted my nails on Saturday evening because you have to look presentable, of course.
On Sunday morning I had a hearty breakfast and went to the location where everything was really well organized. There was also nice food and a space where we could wait before everything would really start. Just before the time, we put on the outfits (which is always at the last minute so that nothing can go wrong with the clothing) and did a runway presentation for the clients. We showcased the new collection from Tommy Hilfiger.
Backstage it was very pleasant; there were also three other models from Touché booked by coincidence and everyone was very nice to each other.

After the show, special Tommy Hilfiger taxis were ready to take us away. Yellow Cabs, so I felt like I was back in New York for a moment.
I let the taxi pass by because I had already arranged my own transport, but it does make for a nice picture. What a year this has been! First reaching the final of Holland's Next Topmodel, not winning but still getting a contract with Touché Models and Tommy Hilfiger as my first client...

On to 2015 and even more beautiful assignments! Can I give you something to take with you for the new year? #Followyourdreams. I did that too and just look where I am now.

Love, Debbie
