Easy Peasy way to peel fruit
Last year I got a really fun little gadget that makes it very easy to peel an apple. My fruit bowl is always overflowing with Elstars. With a kind of rotating motion, your apple is peeled and simultaneously sliced. Handy, right? I also have a thing for pineapple that removes the entire yellow rascal from its skin in 1 minute and immediately gives you all exactly the same slices.

Recently, I saw Tijn during lunch peel and cut an avocado in an amazing way in no time. Tijn is the editor of the program ‘How should it actually be?’ (that editorial team is our neighbors and he knows exactly how everything should be done, you understand). The avocado he cuts in half and then removes the pit. Then he makes squares with a knife in the flesh. Grab a spoon and scoop the fruit out of its jacket and voila, you immediately have cubes.

I still sometimes struggle with a pomegranate. First of all, your hands turn fire red and the juice splatters all over my clothes anyway.
