EXPENSIVE DAVID
On February 2, the Super Bowl will be broadcast and we finally have a reason to watch. Not because we love football it so much but because of the commercial break aka the most coveted commercial break in the world.
To get a spot during the Super Bowl commercials, you have to dig deep into your antelope-leather pouch. About 90 million Americans watch the Super Bowl, so a thirty-second commercial quickly costs four million dollars. To our great delight, H&M chose this year for the premiere of the new David Beckham campaign. Three words: David. Beckham. Naked.
Well, half-naked. He is once again running through a city in his underwear (this time London, last time through Beverly Hills) and Americans with a Samsung TV can buy the underwear with the push of a button on their remote. We would prefer a button that allows us to strip him of his clothes every time he appears on TV, but that's beside the point.
