The 4 finest yoga retreats

The last few days I've been browsing the internet a bit to see where I'm going on vacation in January. Preferably to the sun. “Hey Jet, it is vacation, right?” Liesbeth calls out as I scour one yoga and boxing retreat after another. I know I know, but let me wake up every morning at 6:30 for a yoga session on the beach of Koh Samui and I am the happiest person on earth. Don't worry, if I take a sip from a gin tonic bucket, I'll be the last to leave at a full moon party.

I am looking forward to a week of stretching, delicious healthy food, hours of sleep, massages, and saunas. Should I continue or have I already convinced you? I think these are the most beautiful places.

 Southern Italy

My favorite site happysoultravel.nl offers the most delightful yoga trips. This one in Southern Italy for example. I would want to book it immediately. You are in a large Masseria with around 100 hectares of land with olive trees and vineyards as a view. The Tommasino family prepares a delicious meal for you every day. All very light and healthy. Yoga in the morning and evening, and if you want, there are also meditation classes. You'll come back feeling brand new.

 Zeeland - Domburg

You don't necessarily have to take a plane and can just stay close to home. Namely in Domburg. There lies a luxury retreat with a huge yoga room, indoor and outdoor pool, and plenty of space to exercise. You're by the sea, so that's already wonderful. Here you can even completely relax in a weekend.

You get meals from an Ayurvedic kitchen. Uber, uber healthy and no meat is involved. Here, on vivonline.nl they have explained exactly what it entails.

 Koh Samui

The most beautiful (and really the most expensive) retreat in Koh Samui. Rooms with a private pool and an amazing view over the sea (really very expensive). There are many different yoga classes daily, you can book a life coach to vent about what's bothering you, and there are also detox programs. You don't really have to leave this place. Yes, maybe for a nice beach walk.

 Ibiza

Ibiza is already very happy and healthy and has plenty of beautiful calming spots for a yoga session. This yoga retreat is run by Marc Michel who also has hectares of land where he grows vegetables and fruits. A perfect place to and talk about your issues under very comfortable conditions. You would almost book your vacation there if it didn't cost a year's salary to get in.. Everything that comes out of the kitchen is super fresh and organic. No meat, of course.
