THE RICHEST FASHION DESIGNERS

Of the 7 days in the week, I am definitely spending at least 1 day a week making plans to become very rich. And not just having a little comfortable money, no, really rich. So that I can buy out the entire Harrods Shoe Heaven, or buy even more Proenza’s in all colors, and throw in a Céline and Gucci as well. Man, it sounds delightful. Now, I read a piece this week about the totally insane wealth of a number of fashion designers, so now the plan is to quickly become good at pattern making and sewing because man, there are a lot of peaks to catch with that.

But first, I’m going to move to Italy because that’s where the richest designers are. At number 5 in the top 5 richest is Valentino Garavani with €1.7 billion, which he earned among other things with the wedding dress of our Máxima. At number 4 is the former love duo and now business duo Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana, they are good for €1.2 billion. The top three is opened by Ralph Lauren with a bizarre €5.4 billion and then at number 2 is Giorgio Armani who can count €7 billion. And the first prize goes to, *drumroll*, Miuccia Prada with €8.1 billion.

8.1 BILLION. I don’t know, man. God, you can do a lot of fun things with that. Anyway, I’ve already bought my sewing kit and a book Designing For Dummies, so soon I’ll be happily lying next to Miuccia on the deck of our yacht with a matching helicopter while we feed 1000 bills to the fish. Because, who cares.
