THIS IS HOW YOU CONQUER THE RAIN

Without a sagging hairstyle and running eyes

You’ll see that today the sun is shining but the whole, whole, whole week everyone came in here as if we had done an ice bucket challenge every day. Rain is not good for your mood and certainly not for your look. That’s why I’m telling you how to withstand the rain looking your best.

HAIR

Frizz-it

Make sure your hair does not frizz. Whether you have fine, thick, straight, or curly hair, rainy weather can cause a lot of frizz and noise. So prevent that in advance by using a light mousse or gel so that you don’t have that problem. If you still want to do a good blow-dry, use a light product with silicones when styling, which makes your hair a bit heavier, and doesn’t bounce as easily.

Moist corner

You probably prefer to hide under an umbrella while cycling. Whether it’s the best solution is the question, because under the umbrella it’s a wonderfully cozy moist mess. So spray an anti-moisture spray in, for example. Especially very handy for hair that frizzes quickly.

Volume

You may have neatly blow-dried your hair in the morning, but after a downpour, little will remain. Unless you cycle with an umbrella, use an anti-frizz spray, and have prepared your hair with texture sprays and dust powders. Let’s say, cocaine for your hair. With such a product, volume is certainly not just blown out of your hair. Once you arrive at the office, you run your hands through your hair and it looks as if you’ve never seen rain. This powder is allowed at the office.

Makeup

Light Makeup

It goes without saying that if you wear makeup, you choose a waterproof mascara and eyeliner. Or you touch up your makeup at the destination itself. No middle ground. Furthermore, it’s best to choose light makeup products. For example, if you cycle through a tropical rain shower, where it’s warm in the air, there’s a chance that a heavier foundation will melt. Not very charming to have streaks on your face. So always go for light products like a powder, highlighter, and blush.

Blend-it!

Light makeup turns out to be the best, but apply it carefully and with love. Blend it well into the skin. If you wear a light foundation, rub it in well with a sponge. A thin layer washes away easily, but a well-applied layer in the skin provides firmness and you won’t get any spots from it.

High gloss

Another problem with rain is that you get unwanted shine on your face. You don’t want that. Use a primer, which immediately provides a matte layer and thus keeps your makeup better in place. A wonder product against rain. Blotting papers are also important to keep everything in place and prevent your face from being shiny.
