The idea that Tinder is only attractive to the losers and perverts of this society is proving to be more and more outdated, now that Katy Perry is the latest new superstar to openly admit to using the popular dating app. “Uh yeah, hello! I’m really into Tinder,” the singer revealed earlier this week when asked in an American radio show if she is single. Because whether on tour or not, hooking up with DJ Diplo or not. There’s always time to swiping find among the single men in her immediate surroundings. And that goes for types like Lindsay Lohan and Ashton Kutcher (pre-Mila) who have previously confessed to trying their luck in this digital dating pool.
In her own country, Georgina Verbaan, Di-rect drummer Jamie Westland, Jody Bernal, Sanne Vogel, and Tygo Gernandt have already come out of the Tinder closet, and even the athletes in Sochi would have en masse been distracted by turning on their Tinder in the Olympic village.
A few weeks ago, Tinder announced that it would help those poor famous people by adding a verification checkmark to their profile, so we can distinguish them from other scoundrels who want to impersonate them.
