Fashion

Just don't

Okay. A beanie was invented as a means to protect us against the cold. It had nothing to do with embellishment or a style statement because, let's be honest, you don't look much better in it. But fashion is inscrutable and suddenly someone thinks about how it would look if you let that beanie dangle lazily at the back of your head. Is it perhaps the headwear equivalent of the coat draped over the shoulder? To show that you are beyond things like cold and wind? But why do you wear it then? That coat, I understand. But that beanie. And then those men who suddenly take to it as well. I don't understand it at all. Beanies are for fools. Or when it's intensely cold. Period.
