Because it's so cold outside that your skin pulls on all sides and gradually turns blue, your skin needs a boost. Something that nourishes and something that makes imperfections like large pores a bit less visible. Does Hydra Life Close-Up do the job it promises to do?
What does it promise?
Hydra Life Close-Up works deep into the skin. The idea of the cream is that it has a light texture that makes it easy to apply and quickly absorbs into the skin. The idea behind it is that it has a long-lasting moisturizing effect and corrects the pores so that you have a fresh and healthy glow. For at least 12 hours. I of course tested those promises.
The test
“Of course I want to try it. Dior is never unpleasant and if it indeed nourishes my skin and makes the pores less visible it's more than welcome. This winter my skin is quite dry and therefore the pores are very visible. I diligently applied it, in the morning and evening after cleansing and kept track of how my skin felt. In the morning it feels very nice. The texture is extremely soft, making it feel like you're putting a velvety layer on your skin. Just like a primer. Soft and correcting, without color. But then much lighter than a primer, because it also works hydrating. You can feel that a shot penetrates your skin. I must be honest that it might not feel like the skin is well-nourished for 12 hours. After about 6 hours, I do feel the need to apply a small pump again. Not a problem, because it smells and applies so nicely that it doesn't make that step unpleasant.’
