 Bronzing, shaping & highlighting

I think we all wonder how to achieve the right proportions in the face. After all, you want your face to speak. Sisley Cosmetics Make-up Artist Randall Wijngaarde not only told us how to do that but also demonstrated it on our Liesbeth. With lots of shine and gold, we are heading into summer and we all look like bronzing goddesses.

Take good care of the skin. You start with a well-cleansed skin, but also a well-hydrated skin. If you want a radiant skin, that is step 1. For Liesbeth, Randall used Sisleyouth, the new skincare from Sisley. You can use it from around the age of 25.^e. Be careful, as it is quite an addictive cream. It is a light gel cream emulsion that energizes, protects, and works preventively against anti-aging. That is something we all want to counteract as quickly as possible, right? Additionally, it is a good base for under the makeup. Baume Efficace for under the eyes provides a rested look. It works de-puffing and nourishing.

Apply Éclat Tenseur all over the face as a primer. This helps the makeup last longer and gives the face some extra shine without becoming greasy. Apply it with a brush. It feels nice and soft on the skin, and you apply an even layer with it.

Phyto Touche Illusion d’Été is a unique nourishing bronzing gel powder that you can use very well to shape the face. Apply this under the cheekbone, in the shape of a crescent moon. This sharpens the line of the cheekbones and gives the face a very tight shape, as if it were shadows.

With Phyto-Touche, the color Miel Canelle was used on Liesbeth, you can create just a bit more depth. With the corresponding Phyto Touche brush, you sweep it on your face, on places where the sun hits the face. These are, for example, the temples, jawline, and bridge of the nose. A bronzed face has more dimensions.

Shine on the eyes is, of course, a must in this look. It makes the eyes more expressive and gives a summery look. Phyto-Ombre Glow is applied to the eyes, in the color gold. Apply it to the entire eyelid up to the brow bone.

As a finishing touch, the color Pearl is applied to the bone under the eyebrow and on the cheekbones to optically lift and bring them forward. Highlighting and shaping are two components that always go hand in hand, for the ultimate effect.

As you can see, a radiant, expressive look is achievable in just a few steps. Just practice with the right proportions and you'll get it right. Always look closely at your own face and use that as a starting point to work with.
