Here at Amayzine HQ, we have started the year off healthy again. The oliebollen, appelflappen, the occasional chocolate pepernoot, champie, and kerststol have been exchanged for mandarins, apples, unroasted nuts, and ginger tea. Our translator Michel-Pierre just let me know that it will only be two months until spring begins. Only two months? Holy Shit, time to get to work!

Doutzen is joining us too. On Saturday, her sister Rens made a delicious veggie pea soup for the whole family, and yesterday she was in the kitchen herself to start the day with a gezonde shake good job Doutz!

What do you need and how do you make it:

  • Half a grapefruit (just eat the other half).
  • Half a banana.
  • A whole pear. You don't necessarily have to peel it.
  • A kiwi.
  • Goji berries, a small handful.
  • Soaked chia seeds. I always put them in water or a bit of almond milk a day in advance.
  • A splash of spelt or almond milk.

Put all the ingredients in the blender and mix it up. Add a little more water or milk if you find the smoothie too thick.
