YOU'RE GOING ON VACATION AND YOU'RE TAKING WITH YOU

A suitcase of course. In the past, I thought it was so not cool to walk with a suitcase on wheels, so I dragged around a giant Eastpak duffel bag over my shoulder. When I think back to that now, what was I thinking? I've changed my mind and later bought a decent one on wheels. At that time, my parents’ cat had an accident in it, but after a thorough cleaning, it was good to go on vacation again. Now I must admit that sometimes there was still a hint of odor coming from it, so I put it out on the street last week. With a heavy heart.

It's time for a new suitcase because I plan to travel a lot more. A trip to Nice with friends, dining at The Harbour Club in Ibiza, and a two-day trip to Paris with Liesbeth are already on the agenda.

Now, I'm really not averse to a Louis Vuitton suitcase (preferably with the damier pattern if I get to choose), but for that money, I'd rather buy a designer bag.

I've set my sights on the Rimowa. And not just because Liesbeth, Olivia, Will I Am, and Alessandra Ambrosio have them. Okay, okay, I am a bit sensitive to that.
