5 THINGS EVERYONE SUDDENLY WEARS
during Fashion Week
When you say Fashion Week, you immediately think of two catwalks. The official runway and the streets of New York, London, Milan, and Paris where all fashion people strut in the most dressed-up version of themselves back and forth, and where photographing and being photographed is the daily mantra.
No matter how creative, unique, and, to use that terrible word from the dictionary, authentic everyone tries to be, there are always items that everyone suddenly wears. Two years ago it was the sweater with the all-seeing eye from Kenzo, last season it was the tribal earring from Dior, and so there is always a fashion uniform to think of each season.
If you want to be incredibly on-trend with the fashion crowd this year, fly to Net-A-Porter to buy this.
The Gucci loafer/slipper
You've probably seen it. From the front, it looks like a safe loafer, but the back is open and filled with fur. I had to get used to it a lot when I saw it during the show, but by now, I am already fantasizing with my online colleague Anna Nooshin about where and when we are going to buy them together.
Jackets with text on the back
To say that I find it beautiful, no. But I notice it, so I share it with you. Sweaters, or rather leather jackets with personalized backs. So you have Best on your jacket and your friend has Friend, or you have Love me Forever or Never embroidered on your back. Those kinds of things.
The iPhone holder from Moschino
Forget the fries bag (was fun, but really can't be done anymore), now you have the pink mirror from Moschino as an iPhone holder.
All colors Chloé
Always the question of what the it-bag of the season will be. If you look at the arms of the it-girls, you can't go wrong with the Faye from Chloé.
And this dress then
You always saw someone wearing it. The floral print dress from Vetements with a T-shirt fabric neckline and an asymmetrical hem. Everyone had to, would, and did wear it.
