8 habits
that you should let go of
I'm going to give you a nice list of habits that you should better leave behind. Trust me, you will really feel better for it. I understand that it is a lot to ask to apply all the tips, but at least pick two or three. I know it's difficult and I seem like one of those perfect people who has everything under control and follows all the tips I give you. Nope. That's not the case. In fact, I can take a really good example from everything below. Are you in?
Don't say yes to everything
Try using that no muscle sometimes. It will give you a lot of peace. And I think that's what everyone wants, right?
Never skip your breakfast
It's seriously the most important meal of the day. Without breakfast, no energy and you get grumpy. Not fun. Look here, here are some nice breakfast spots.
Clean up your desk
Mess on your desk, mess in your head. Sigh... I can really take an example from this. Somehow I manage to make a complete mess within 5 minutes wherever I am.
Take your sleep hours seriously
You don't get happy from too little sleep. So really go to bed on time. If you can't fall asleep, Liesbeth here has some tips for you.
Don't procrastinate
Procrastination leads to cancellation. You know that and yet you do it. Also with emails you receive. Or texts. Reply immediately. You will forget it otherwise.
Don't buy something a size smaller because you think you'll fit into it later
Relatable. Don't do it. Sorry to say it, but it probably won't happen anyway and then you'll be stuck with a too-small piece of clothing. It might just fit, but it doesn't look good. Preferably choose a size larger, it feels much better and you even look slimmer in loose clothing than in those tight things.
Leave your phone alone
Oh, this is one of those too. Turn it off, or put it on airplane mode or at least don't keep it nearby and focus on yourself or the person you are with. I'll show you this video one more time to convince you. When I showed it to Liesbeth, she was already texting after 1 minute. During the video, that is. Where are we headed?.
Don't feel guilty after eating
I often give you healthy recipes, but believe me: if you eat a completely sugar-free, dairy-free, and wheat-free banana cake very often, you can still gain weight. What I mean is that you can really eat everything. Just do it in moderation and please don't feel guilty, it's such a shame and it's not necessary at all.
