Facelift in a bottle
“Have you ever had something done?” That is the question that women my age ask each other during a dinner after a few glasses of wine. To botox or not to botox is the big question that occupies us.
Although I know many ‘cases’ where botox works wonders and you see nothing but a wonderfully tidy face, I find the ‘risk of going too far’ too great to start it myself. I'm not very good at doing things in moderation (a glance at my shoe closet and my empty bottle cabinet at the end of the weekend tells you enough) and besides, I have the feeling that ‘old age’ will come out somewhere. It's just like shapewear; at your butt, you may look very slim, but as soon as the tight panties stop, that little fat edge pops out.
Age reveals itself in your voice, in your gaze, oh in your whole being. That's why I skip a round at the botox dealer. Moreover, I have all kinds of nice things that ensure that botox and fillers can stay in my waiting room for a while longer.
My latest aid is this serum from Clarins called Mission Perfection. Look, you've already got me. The bottle is made of a light material, so it's ideal for travel-loving types like me. The serum itself has a very fine, soft texture. Often serums are so liquid that before you know it, it's everywhere except where you intended it to be. This serum is very soft and easy to spread and has a beautiful apricot-colored tint. As a result, your skin immediately seems to get a beautiful, healthy color. The serum itself was also absorbed very easily by my skin. I've been using it for about 4 weeks day and night, and believe me, pigmentation spots disappear like snow in the sun. My skin also radiates like never before. The last little plus is that it has a very pleasant but not overpowering scent.
I'm sold. This bottle is a keeper, and hopefully, that skin-that-looks-reasonably-good-for-my-age will be too.
And now you can try it too. Just go to our Facebook page, like and share the post and before you know it, you have that flawless skin you've always dreamed of. Fingers crossed.
