Dark circles, you don't want them

Jet is running 10 kilometers today 10 kilometers, Liesbeth is – with the necessary bottle – cheering on the terrace where Jet will probably take a few sips afterwards and I am dancing at a wedding. You can bet your bottom dollar that we won't be getting out of bed very quickly tomorrow morning and will also have the necessary dark circles under our eyes. With these five tips, you can prevent them and hide them forever.

1. Sun protection

If you, like me, have some trouble with pigmentation spots or high pigmentation, then you are often in trouble during the summer. Pigmentation spots become even more visible then. The skin around your eyes is already a bit thinner and weaker, and UV radiation affects it very quickly. A good sun protection is really worth it.

2. Retinol
Retinol sounds really exciting, but it works incredibly well for dark circles under the eyes. It is packed with vitamin A and helps promote collagen production and cell renewal. Both are very handy to combat those dark circles.

3. Light brighteners
When looking for an eye product, look for ingredients like vitamin C and Kojic acid. These are often used in skincare to brighten your skin. Especially around the eyes, they work wonders.

4. Light concealer
Well, a concealer of course! Really, a lovely shade works on every skin and conceals quite a bit.

5. Makeup tricks
Be careful with too much makeup. You often think it can't hurt, but actually, you emphasize the issue. Mascara You might want to leave your lower lashes alone. All the accents you put on your eyes only stand out more.
