How to do your Hair

CHANEL had the look a few years ago in the show, but hey, that doesn't mean it's over. No, when CHANEL does something, we can enjoy it for a long time. It's the ideal, somewhat rebellious, but oh so festival-friendly look. How do you do it? Well, our Rachel from The Building AMS shows you how in a few steps.

Ponytail
For the look, you need to create a long ponytail. The best part is to do something special with the ponytail, because then you get the most beautiful effect. Make a sort of star section on the head and spray each strand with some hairspray. Then tie them together as a ponytail.

Extensions
It's not necessary, but it does make the ponytail a bit more voluminous and noticeable. Extensions it is. You can buy loose extensions and pin them under the ponytail. Take a strand from your own hair and twist it around the hair and the extensions. This way, you keep it nice together and you won't see the separation between real and fake.

Decoration
Actually, the party only really starts now. You need ribbons in all colors and materials for the decoration. You can just buy ribbons, but you can also tear strips from old shirts, jackets, or whatever. Think of it as a second life. Take small strands of hair and braid the ribbons in from the top of the ponytail.

Waving
As I told you earlier; waving and crimping is totally hot. Literally. And since that fits perfectly with this look and gives just that funky effect, I recommend you really blow the fabric of the waffle iron this time. Additionally, crimping gives the ponytail even more volume.

Finishing touch
Finish it off with hairspray and surf spray. There, now you can survive a few days of festival without it showing in your hair.
