It is a wonder that Carolien has been able to make a weekly report again, because her schedule was packed and overflowing. But fortunately, we get to enjoy a bit of all that fun.

No, this is not the result of a day of baking unfortunately… This is the dessert buffet of the new restaurant ‘The Duchess’. I had planned to take three courses of desserts, until I received the menu… Dozens of shared dining bites that I literally wanted to taste all of them. Jon and I managed to try eight, but then there was no room for tea anymore. Quickly back to try the rest of the menu. And I can already look forward to the launch of the High tea in three months!

The recordings for ‘Kamp Holland’ are not yet finished or I am already rehearsing for an exciting new project. While I am still practicing hard on various military drills and terms, I am already facing a new challenge: I am going to learn to sail! Together with Yootha, we stepped into a sailboat for the first time to then sail ‘close-hauled to higher ground’. By the end of the lesson, we had learned so many new terms that I really have some homework for the next lesson. For which project we need to learn this skill is still a secret… To be continued!

Thanks to The Gift Suite from last week, I am completely up to date with the latest trends and products. My favorite of the day was this waterproof speaker from Ultimate Ears. I threw it into the bath with a big splash and it just kept doing its thing! Also a perfect luxury moment in the shower, just like in hotels. Janice and I are definitely taking this one on vacation.

Now that Jon and I are both filming full-time again, there is quite little time to do groceries. Let alone to cook. In the meantime, I have also extensively tested all the ready-made meals from Stach (highly recommended!), so it was time for something new. These clean meals are healthy ready-made meals that are also packaged in perfect portions. A little seasoning from myself and voilà: a homemade dinner! Semi homemade.

I have always been taught to take good care of my skin. Every morning and evening, I have a fixed ritual: first cleanse well, then hydrate well with an eye and day/night cream. And in the morning always an SPF factor over my cream. And that was appreciated by Nivea. During the skin test, I saw myself well-tanned on the screen, which means I protect my skin well. Passed with a ten and a pencil!
