Never a dull moment in the life of actress and it-girl Carolien Spoor. She takes you along…

It's over! Last week I got to hang up my entire army gear for good. For three days we struggled with an outfit weighing 20 kilos in 40 degrees to portray somewhat credible soldiers. As the only girl in a group full of testosterone, it was important to add a bit of femininity to myself this week. So the route to the mani/pedi, eyebrows, and waxing salon has been scheduled! Still, I will miss my army outfit…

Monday morning I was already in Make Up for the Opening of Fashionweek with Esther Dorhout-Mees: I couldn't have made a bigger switch… It was a bit of a gulp among all those beautiful, slim models: I jumped for joy when I fit into my dress during the fitting (just on)! Together with Yootha, Anna, Chloé, and Kiki, we took care of the vocal part of the show. As we walked off the catwalk, we all got so much adrenaline that we immediately wanted to go again. Maybe we can do it again next year?!

Finally, it can be revealed: this autumn I play the lead role in the new Thriller Sneekweek! Together with this top cast, I get to film in Sneek for 2 months, what a party :) The film is about 6 young people who come to Sneekweek to participate in the sailing competition, so we were immediately put on sailing lessons. It has to look somewhat credible after all… By now we can already tack, make a storm circle, and beat to windward. Sounds pretty professional, right?!

That Victoria can do everything! In collaboration with Sapph, she has designed a swim collection that made my mouth water. I HAD to have this turquoise bikini for the summer. During that one free hour in Spain while filming Kamp Holland, I didn't know how quickly I could get into my version.

I get so happy wandering through Amsterdam discovering new spots and boutiques! I stumbled upon this lovely vegan place on Leliegracht with fresh juices and raw vegan wraps. They also have a small supermarket where you can find everything in the area of gluten-free, raw, and vegan. My biggest discovery: Coconut Yogurt from Abbot Kinney’s.
