Nicky walked away with the grand prize, but runner-up Debbie has nothing to complain about. She is currently in India where she gets to do cool jobs after awesome shoots. And especially for you, she keeps a little diary. Read along.

I had three days off, which was really wonderful. The program included visits to the cinema with my model friends and a dinner with my cousin Frank and his girlfriend Eva. My roommate Brooke also joined us for some fun.

On my last day off, I went to Gurdwara, a Sikh temple. I always draw energy from there. I was there with Brooke, who had never been before, so I showed her around. That evening we had a washing machine drama; one of our housemates accidentally put something in it that caused the water not to drain. Well, such things happen in model apartments too, haha.

The next day I had a casting for a TV commercial for Zoom (a TV channel here). The photos for the April issue of Vogue have also been released.

Before going to sleep, I drank lemongrass chai, after which I couldn't sleep. I went out at night to look for candy, and suddenly everyone got out of bed!

The next morning, photos were taken for a fitting, then another casting, and I ended the day with crepes with Nutella and banana. After that, I updated my paperwork a bit in bed, which also needs to be done weekly when you're a model.

Two days later, there was a fashion show by Ken Ferns on the agenda. The theme was Paris, backstage photos were taken, and it was a really fun day.

The day after, I had a test shoot with Omkar Chitnis. That night, Brooke and I stayed over at my Dutch friend Siporra's place, and she and Brooke arranged for a body massage, manicure, and pedicure with women they had hired. At midnight, my birthday would start!

Siporra had also decorated her house for that, and at midnight they came in with a cake, sang for me, and we had fun playing games while enjoying all kinds of delicious snacks. Siporra's housemate, an Indian girl, and Siporra's boyfriend also came, so that was super fun! I definitely felt like it was my birthday, and they really spoiled me. So nice: I've only known them for two months, but they have really become such good friends. It's special to see how strangers can mean so much to you in such a short time!

On my birthday, I went to a swimming resort with Brooke and Siporra, and in the evening, I had dinner with my model friends. I have a twin sister who lives in the Netherlands, and this was the first birthday we didn't celebrate together. That was a bit strange, but luckily there's Skype!

After that, there were two more days off, which I spent at the gym, the supermarket, and in the kitchen.
