THINGS WE LOVE

– Renault Captur –

About half a year ago, I drove with the Twingo to Berlin and you understand that it was hard to say goodbye when the Twingo had to return to Renault. It was a gem, I had a chance at every traffic light, it taught me how to park and showed me the city of Berlin in the smoothest way with its fine turning circle. So it was a great time together that I will never forget. Until May came driving with the Captur. Of course, I had to sniff around a bit. It turns out it's going to be a little competition, between the Twingo and the Captur. And here's why.

Two-tone color scheme

Anyone who has ever taken a look at my Instagram accountt knows that I have a huge love for two colors; black and white. I prefer to surround myself only with items in my environment that also have those two colors, because then I don't have to deal with filters and real editing processes. So yes, my wardrobe is black and white, they are the main colors in my house and also on my desk, there are only items in those colors. The Captur fits right in. It has a two-tone color scheme and customization options, so everyone can adjust it to their taste. Chic, sporty; it just depends on what fits.

Glove compartment

I think my boyfriend is going to be very happy with the glove compartment. It's a pull-out drawer where you can store everything. Camera, travel documents, water bottles, nice BB creams, and who knows what else, it all just stays together instead of being spread all over the car. I actually think that not only my boyfriend will be very happy with this, but I will be too.

Eco mode

Of course, I am a very proper driver (ahem), but the eco mode is going to help me out. The Captur drives much more economically, emits less, and helps the driver manage the coupling better. Now I've tested it a bit and I think I actually really like this. After each ride, you see the results and I see that as a kind of competition. And if I can win that competition by driving as economically as possible, then I'm happy to participate. Easy peasy.

Explore

I'm really not averse to a city trip and I can totally see myself touring to different cities in this Captur. Now the Captur also embodies the word ‘explore’. The car wants to go on an expedition with you, wants to discover new things, and just wants to have fun. That ‘explore’ is reflected in the design and in all those handy, practical things in and around the car. Oh, I love it. I'm more than happy to take on that adventure.

On an adventure in the city

Of course, I quickly fell in love with a car that has good looks and good content, but I admit I am quite easy. Usually, people want both a car with character and the robustness of an urban crossover and enough space and maneuverability and nice driving pleasure. It's all a bit much for me. But hey, no worries, it's all just in the Captur. Or actually, the Captur is just that. And maybe it's nice to know; this car also looks good at the traffic light. You get that for free.
