Holistic dog restaurant opens doors in London
It is unfairly distributed in the world and the animal kingdom is no exception. One dog spends its days in the shelter with a can of dog food, the other leads a luxurious life on a Gucci cushion and is treated to dinners in a dog restaurant.
This last event takes place next weekend to be precise when a special holistic pop-up restaurant for dogs opens its doors in Shoreditch, London. In The Curious Canine Kitchen a 5-course menu prepared with only the best ingredients will be served to our beloved four-legged friends. Think of a seaweed- and kale puree to start, a mushroom and flaxseed mousse as the main course and a dessert of coconut and blueberry pudding and gluten-free cinnamon quinoa. Drinks have also been considered. For example, alkaline water, beef consommé and coconut water will be served. As a digestif, the little ones can expect a marrow bone with herbal tea, as it's good for their teeth.
Owners are offered an equally healthy and culinary menu and can sit next to their pet at the custom-made dog tables.
Although it secretly seems nice to dine in style with our dog once, it is also a decadence that might make you feel a bit uncomfortable. Fortunately, this whole dog event has been set up as a charity event and the proceeds go 100% to Amazon CARES, a foundation dedicated to street dogs and cats in Peru. If you and Fifi happen to be in London next weekend and feel like a good bite; for £20 p.p. you can dig in.
