How do you take the best festival photos?

My friends and I are our first festival hour bloody annoying. Because then we still look fresh and exciting and have to take hundreds of photos without any shame. Just to post one on Insta, including fifteen filters and corrections. Terrible, I realize now as I write this down, but we are certainly not the only ones. So for everyone who is at least as annoying during parties or festivals: how do you make the mothers name perfect party pic?

Pay attention to the background

Nothing is as ugly as a background with a trash can or a meaningless food stall. So pay close attention to where you stand before you instruct (or command) someone to take a photo. The atmosphere of the festival comes across best when you stand in the crowd.

Feet IN IT

Jeez, I can get so annoyed by those chopped-off feet in photos. For some reason, people don't understand that you have to be completely in it. Otherwise, your kijk doesn't come out well either. Isn't that sad?

Set the light

Today's smartphones have quite advanced cameras. Take the iPhone. If you tap with your finger where you want to focus, it automatically adjusts the light. This way, you avoid a light background with only shadows in the foreground. Good, right?

Unique position

Try to be creative with the frame you take. For a different angle, you could lie down on the ground or stand on a bench (who cares if people look at you strangely). What you can do with the iPhone camera with light and dark can also be done with focusing. Hold your camera close to the object (your cool boat, festival nail, whatever) that you want to focus on and tap with your finger on the object on your screen. You'll see that the background blurs. This way, it looks just like a professional photo.

Video

How cool is it if, alongside all those thousands of photos, you also have a short video of your unforgettable festival day? At Amayzine, we have discovered the Cinamatic-app . With this, you can record four clips of five seconds each. So by the end of the day, you have a twenty-second video with all the highlights. So Instagrammable!
