IN 24 HOURS A TIGHT BELLY

My beloved doesn't believe it, but truly, I can tell you that you can achieve a lot in a day when it comes to tightening your body.

I've often pushed myself to fit into that sample size and really, it works. You can procrastinate for weeks about that one kilo that needs to come off, but if you push through today, you'll have succeeded by tomorrow. I'll give you a recipe I found on Elle.com.

Breakfast

According to the friends at Elle, you could also eat oatmeal, but since I find that really disgusting (my grandfather ate that...) I'll give you their second option. Two boiled eggs and some red fruit. The eggs give you a warm and full feeling without being fattening. The red fruit is cleansing and good for the vitamins.

Snack

A handful of unsalted, unroasted nuts (I know, I know... tasty is different, but it fills you up. Just think of the model kids, they do nothing else) and a mandarin.

You could also dip some celery sticks in two tablespoons of peanut butter, but I personally find that a rather unappetizing dish on a Saturday. Really, no one will want to kiss you after that.

Lunch

Make a large bowl with lots of romaine lettuce leaves, half a cucumber sliced, about twelve cherry tomatoes, half an avocado and another boiled egg. This for ‘a little sub’ (sub=substance), as our Jet puts it. Let the pine nuts go for a bit (they're quite calorie-dense), replace them with sunflower seeds. For dressing, sprinkle fresh lemon juice over the salad. And come on, since it's Saturday... a little bit of salt J.

Snack

Greek yogurt with a hint of cinnamon. Cinnamon, you should know, is a natural sweetener and moreover, the scent relieves stress. Just try it. Cinnamon feels immediately safe. The Greek yogurt is nice and thick, so you won't be hungry for a while.

You can also take a bowl of sliced cucumber (the half you had left from your lunch, for example). Sprinkle some dill over it, and if you're in the mood for a bite, you can add a few strips of red pepper. Because cucumbers contain so much water and fiber, you won't be hungry for a while, bet?

Dinner

I really love this. You stir-fry fresh spinach (super healthy). I also add an onion, a minced clove of garlic, and some red pepper for a bite. Then a piece of salmon (preferably steamed, but fried in a bit of oil is fine too) and some roasted vegetables. If you also add fennel, you're in, because fennel is very cleansing. But I'm not really into it, so I'll skip that. I don't think salmon is bad because it's a fatty fish. These are healthy fats (Omega 3) that actually help burn fat in your body. And it's good for your skin. So.

And you should hide those chocolate letters. If you can zip that up smoothly tomorrow, you'll be grateful to me.
