Inside Nicole Richie’s boho mansion
If you’re a regular visitor of Amayzine you know we’re out and proud of our love for snooping around in other people’s homes. We prefer mansions and penthouses, celebrity mansion and penthouses to be specific. And we never heard any complaints from you guys when we share a look inside the cribs of the rich and famous. So we’re just going to keep on going when the opportunity to peep behinds closed doors presents itself.
Last month Nicole Richie and Joel Madden put their Laurel Canyon home on market. The bohemian style mansion located in the Hollywood Hills area famous for their former rockstar inhabitants like Jim Morrison, Joni Mitchell en Frank Zappa has been the home of Nicole, Joel and their children Harlow and Sparrow since 2009.
We all know Nicole has great taste and it certainly reflects in her interior design. We see soaring ceilings plus lots of windows and skylights bringing light to the 5-bedroom, 5-bath home, which also features courtyard-style open spaces and dark, exposed beams. An attached guesthouse offers access to a backyard with eating and play areas alongside a lagoon-style pool, spa and waterfall. For Nicole the crowning touch was a hand-painted Magic Cabin canvas teepee embellished with a California-inspired mural by artist duo Clamdiggin. “It’s the real deal,” she told InStyle magazine.
Now that the Maddens are moving up to a new residence in a swank, privately patrolled Beverly Hills enclave this dream house is up for grabs if you’re willing to pay $3.495 million.
