6 things you want this summer

When I look up, I see a gray mass and the heating has been given the impossible task of blowing our studio to 25 degrees Celsius, so spring seems quite far away, but tonight daylight saving time starts (yay) and in less than a month we will really, really, really be in the sun.

In the category of anticipation, here are the items you want to be seen in this summer. It costs an arm and a leg, but hey, who needs money when you have beach and sea, and besides, a little rib looks particularly slim.

 WITH A DOT

Jet has been restless for days because of this Dolce & Gabbana dress. It costs a small month's salary, but I hear ‘must and will have it‘ all day as a mantra around me, so bet she will be hopping around the Tuscan hills with it soon?

 Denim Deluxe

That double-breasted denim jacket from Gucci is so incredibly mine to have. Just like that denim dress. That, a swimsuit, and a Sophia Webster in the suitcase and I'm ready. Child, I'm so easy.

 Watermelon with seeds

Actually, everything from Sophia Webster should be delivered directly to Pilotenstraat 23, but especially the watermelon pumps make us restless and greedy.

Small bags

The fun thing about Chihuahua bags is that they can effortlessly dangle around your body (in summer you really only need a credit card, a gloss, and a stray tampon), they are an accessory for your outfit, and are much more affordable than their big sisters. I'm torn between the Chain Louise from Louis Vuitton and the camera bag from Saint Laurent. What do you say? Both?

So Bardot

I'm driving to Saint-Tropez and then the motto applies; When in Saint-Tropez, dress like BB. The small check that was named after her must therefore go into my closet. And quickly. Altuzarra has the most beautiful check, color, and cut.

Wide around the calf

The last six summers I spent in skinny jeans, but this summer it needs to be exchanged. For a flared one. I still need to get used to it a bit, but with a short knotted white blouse on top, a nice open pump underneath, and a straw hat (or the one from Saint Laurent) on my head, I could get used to the idea.
