I left you behind when I was nodding off and typing behind my laptop, and that's exactly how I'm sitting here now. It's 8:30 PM New York time and I'm totally wiped out. A combination of long days, extremely cold temperatures, and a jet lag does that to you. Anyway, I'm going to tell you about our Monday and Tuesday.

We started Monday at the Tommy Hilfiger show, just like last season at Park Avenue Armory. A grand building that serves as a cultural center but is transformed into a sports paradise by Tommy.

This time it was a gigantic American Football field, around which the hundreds of guests were placed. To the hits of Beyoncé (not live by the way), the models marched onto the field, and how that exactly went you can enjoy watching it back here.

We stand outside for quite a while for that video and while waiting I start chatting with John, who turns out to work for Bill Cunningham. Indeed, the Bill Cunningham. I become good friends with him and was photographed by Bill, which is an absolute highlight of my life after meeting Olivia.

After Tommy, we take a quick look at J.Crew (hey we work in fashion, shopping is part of our job) and then we split up. Josselin and I go to Lincoln Center for the Dennis Basso show, and Jet, May, and Sacha go for lunch.

Dennis Basso was the first show Josselin saw and it was a good start, in terms of spectacle and so on. We marvel at the, eh, colorful types coming to the show and afterwards we gather in the square of Lincoln Center, where we meet the rest of our group. Because we have another show right after that, that of the Dutch Ilja Visser. Her label Ready to Fish is showing in New York and that's really very cool.

That little visit to J.Crew left us wanting more so we take a cab to SoHo and go in and out of shops there. Loaded and touched, we return to the apartment a few hours later and then hide behind our laptops again, because there is still work to be done. We have absolutely no control over that jet lag so we wake up every morning at 5:00 AM, which means we totally crash around 9:00 PM every night and keep going to bed at baby time.

Then Tuesday. We start the morning each on our own. Jet is going to try a session of soul cycling, the hottest sport in NY. Josselin goes with Sacha to Badgley Mischka for a backstage tour, May has an appointment with the uber-cool Bo Mulder and I'm going to the NYC & Company office for an interview and something else very fun that I'll tell you more about soon. Then Jet and I are going to check out the Diesel show, which is located on Wall Street so I was hoping for handsome men in suits, but unfortunately saw very few. After Diesel we gather again in our apartment and go with the five of us to the show of Marc by Marc Jacobs, of which you will see the video later today.

And now it's just after 9 PM, May, Jet, and Joss are already sleeping and I'm sitting with Sacha at the kitchen table. I'm typing this piece, he's editing the video. It's of course too silly for words, we're in the coolest city on earth and we go to bed no later than 10 PM. A bunch of old ladies. Tomorrow night we're eating at Indochine, and afterwards Joss, Jet, and I want to drink a cocktail somewhere fancy. So I hope, hope, that we won't be asked to leave the place at 10 PM with our heads falling asleep in the Cosmopolitan. I'll keep you updated.
