My youngest girl asks with every new piece of clothing: “Mom, did you buy that in Paris (pronounced Palijs) or in Los Angeles?” Sounds terribly decadent, but the fact is that I buy most of my clothes abroad.
I grabbed the jeans in L.A. off the rack on Robertson Boulevard, from Rag & Bone. The top was a New York purchase at J. Crew, one of my regular spots there. The shoes, finally, are from Jimmy Choo and I bought them in good old Amsterdam. At Shoebaloo, because they have the best collection and you won't find a friendlier place.
