I recently wrote about the Gaastra effect where everyone expects a windbreaker, but then you see an incredibly cool dress. I was invited to the Gaastra headquarters at the Houthavens in Amsterdam (where I want to live tomorrow, but that's beside the point) and there I received a package.

Now you might imagine that I am an intensely spoiled sheep that receives quite a lot of clothing. And not everything that is sent actually ends up in my closet. Sorry about that by the way. And not everything that is sent will I actually wear. But this dress, dear people, I immediately got to work the next day.

It is in a beautiful dark blue bordering on black and I love the nice finishing of the buttons on one side of the shoulder. I think it falls very nicely and that scarf is large and wonderfully heavy and is of a really nice quality. You can also lie under it on the couch or you can wrap a child in it that wants to sleep on a bench in a restaurant. Both from the company Gaastra, so. You didn't expect that, did you? But shall we agree now that Gaastra simply has very nice clothes and we are no longer surprised about that?

The shoes are from Alexander McQueen and the bag? Right… Chanel. Did I already mention that I am going to buy a new one?
